Infinite Flight – Flight Simulator is an app created by Flying Development Studio LLC. It costs $4.99 and is available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Functionality:

This is easily the best app for aviation enthusiasts. The graphics, content and realism are unprecedented to other iOS flight simulator apps.

You can choose from a wide array of airplanes, airports and weather conditions. You can also choose if you want to start off by taking off or by landing, as well as the time of day.

Infinite Flight – Flight Simulator even has an autopilot that supports Altitude, Heading, Throttle and Vertical Speed settings. Not to mention that the flying system is really realistic and even provides you with a weight and balance configuration.

The Good:

In addition to all the great things this simulator offers, it also comes with an advanced replay system, as well as flight planning.

The Bad:

Some of the airplanes that you can buy in this app are way too expensive. $4.99 for a Boeing 757-200? Are you kidding me? How are you going to sell this app for $4.99 and then sell something that took you 1% of the time it took to make the app, to make that airplane, for $4.99 as well? All of the planes should be $.99 or $1.99 at the most.

For example: New York costs $4.99 to unlock. A Boeing also costs $4.99 to unlock? That just makes no sense to me.

Conclusion:

Although the in-app purchased airplanes cost way too much, this simulator is the best one on the iOS market. I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more for all of the things it comes with. Even though the extra airplanes are overpriced, you get a lot of content with the base $4.99 app purchase.
