Puzzle games are a funny thing to me. You see there are some puzzle games that cater for pretty much everyone out there. But then there are those other puzzle games that people either see as a little dumbed down or to advanced for them. Truth is neither of these more simple or advanced puzzle games are better than the other. They just cater for different people and that is what I think we have here with Blueprint. A great puzzle game for certain people, but I can easily see why others would not be into it.

Blueprint looks great. It looks like no other puzzle game that I have ever seen. When you start a game you just see what looks like a bunch of little dots and lines. It may just look like a mess, but you see deep inside and from a particular view lays a image and it is your job to find that image. It really does look quite spectacular and the truth is and this is not a cop out, but it is one of those games that is hard to describe you really need to see it for your self.

So when you start a game and you see the series of lines and dots you then need to think about what you are going to do. You will need to drag the picture and move it around in all kinds of angles in order to find the “sweet spot” and bang what was once just a series of dots and lines has now become a cool image and you have solved the puzzle. As of writing there are around 300 different puzzles for you to solve and it has been said that many new ones will be added. I can easily see why so many people are calling this the best puzzle game on the iOS. Some are even saying that it is the best puzzle game in year. But at the same time I am sure that this is a game that some people will find frustratingly hard and not that much fun to play.

One feature that is really cool is how you can take a photo and then the game will covert it into a image that can be used as a puzzle so you can take photos of things that you find interesting and challenge your friends to figure out what it is you have taken a picture of. I am sure this is something that will get many people addicted to the game. There is also a trophy room where you can proudly display your achievements that you have earned in the game.

One other feature that I feel deserves to be mentioned is the soundtrack. The game has a wonderful soundtrack with each puzzle having its own tune. But I love the way that the game lets you take tracks from iTunes to use with various puzzles. There is just something really cool about playing a puzzle game with an Iron Maiden soundtrack/

This is a wonderful game, but it certainly is not for everyone. I highly recommend that you give it a try just go into it with a open mind.
