If you’re looking to become a power user of your iPhone then I would highly recommend downloading Tips & Tricks – iPhone Secrets. This guide for ios 6.0 is very comprehensive. Created by Intelligenti Ltd, who have created numerous apps on the iTunes store that teach users tips and tricks for ios in multiple languages. They even have one for Windows 7.
Tips & Tricks – iPhone Secrets has twenty chapters with tips that cover subjects such as Shortcuts, Battery life, typing, camera, music, security and troubleshooting to name a few. There are 170 tips in total. This app feels more like an interactive book then an application. The font is easy to read and the tips are not just fluff tips. I’ve been using ios for a while and some of the tips covered are things I never knew I could do.
The navigation is wonderful. You can jump to any chapter simply by clicking the chapters button in the lower left hand corner. If you find a tip you really like you can share it to Facebook twitter or your email. The only two things that could make this app easier to use for finding tips would be a table of contents or even an searchbox where you could type in a phrase to look for.
I really like that even though it’s a guide for iPhone they natively support the iPad. This makes it very easy to read. This app is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this app to anybody who has an iPhone.
For $0.99 this app is definitely worth the price of admission. The amount of time you can save using some the tips in this book are well worth the purchase price.
