Pocket Gods is an odd game for ios. In this game you play a “Benevolent “ God. Under your control are natural disasters such as tornados, lighting, the ability to change temperature and other ways to manipulate the environment. There aren’t many instructions on how to do things in the game. It’s a lot of trial and error. There are objectives, which you can try to achieve. There are a ton of add on packs for this game as well in the form of in game purchases. The scenarios in which you can play with your tribe feel kind of small and limiting. I’m not sure if the add on packs would make this easier.

This game is formatted for the ipod and not the iPad. This is rather annoying. With a bigger screen option you could have the ability to have a bigger play space. I found this game very awkward to play. It would be great if they had a tutorial video or better documentation. A lot of the user reviews say it’ a great game, but a few people are experiencing a lot of crashes. As I stated with my complaint about there not being an iPad version and user has also complained that there isn’t native support for the iPhone 5. Considering this is the 47th revision of this game you would think they would listen to their users and give them what they want.

All in all this is an okay game. With all of the in game purchase add-ons the game itself should be free. Supposedly in the help system there is instructions on how to use the powers. I have not been able to find these yet.
