You have got to love the name of this game it really is exactly what the game is. I do not know why, but that puts a smile on my face. Anyway I have always found logos for various different tings very interesting ever since art class back in my high school days. I remember finding out that two of the most recognised logos on the planet were the Batman on and McDonalds. So this was a game that had my interest peaked as soon as I saw what it was called.
I do not really want to spend a whole heap of time talking about how this game looks. Because as the fantastic titles informs us this is a logos quiz game and that pretty much is what you are just going to be looking at hundreds and hundreds of various logos. They are all the real deal which is pretty cool I was expecting some kind of knock of drawings of logos, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Anyway this is one great game that really does drive you crazy. The aim of the game is very simple you need to guess what a logo is. Now the thing that makes this really hard is that if there is text on a logo like say Netflix for example then some of it would be missing. Sometimes all the text will be missing. The various logos are rated depending on how hard they are. There is nothing more frustrating than when you know what a logo is, but for the life of you for some reason you cannot remember what it is called.
There are hints that you can use. Or if you get really stuck you can even ask a buddy to help you out, but for me that really defeats the purpose of this game. I felt that the best way to play this was on your own and with no help at all. The way that you “win” at the game is by getting as a high a score as possible. All the logos are split into categories so if there is something you know nothing about fashion in my case you can ignore it if you so wish. Anyway you click on your chosen logo then you need to type in what it is. You get points for how fast and accurate you can do it. So if you screw up and try to go to fast and misspell then it will dock you some points. Something really cool is the way the game can tell if you are nearly there and it will let you know that you are quite close.
This is a really fun game that is great for wasting a few minutes (or in my case up to an hour) of time. It is crazy the amount of logos here. I mean as of writing there are around 800 different ones and some of these bad boys are really obscure. This is certainly worth a download and it is all free!
