Draw Something for a while was a huge phenomenon that pretty much took over the lives of me and my friends and family for a while last year. And from what I have heard it took over many other peoples lives as well. For such a simple concept the game was so much fun. With that being said OMGPOP have released a free version of this world wide best seller. So people who were not willing to pay for the game now get the chance to see what people were going so crazy about.

Now graphically you really cannot say to much about this game because all the art is done by you and other people. And this is where so much of the fun is. Sometimes when a person will draw something for you and you will have no clue what the heck they are trying to draw and that is part of the fun here. Some people will spend ages drawing these big elaborate pictures. Where as other people who are artistically challenged like my self will pretty much stick with stick figures.

The idea of Draw Something is that you get to pick from a list of things to draw and it is up to the person you are playing against to guess what it is you are drawing. It really is that simple. You can have multiple games on the go at once which is pretty cool. What I love about this game as well as how much fun it is, is the way that you kind of get a peak at the way a persons mind works. By this I mean the way someone will draw something or interoperate something will probably differ from the way you would. And I found this very cool.

You can play against people that you are friends with in you Facebook account or even your email address book. But you can also play against random people as well. I found that I always had a game on the go and that I never had to wait for someone else to play this game. I sometimes would have a game against a person that would go on for 50 rounds. This is how addictive the game really is. I have heard some people say that this is just a rip off of Pictionary and in a small way that is true, but I will go on record and say that this is far more fun than Pictionary.

This is a must download it really is. The only disadvantage I would say that the free version has over the full game is the amount of things that you can draw does seem like quite a bit less. There is still a great choice, but I did encounter more repeat words in this free version that I did the full version. Still give this one a try and if you get addicted like I am sure you will do then I would say it is worthwhile giving the full version a try.
