Wheel of Fortune, the popular TV game show, is introduced to iOS by Sony Pictures Television, bringing you the mobile app that best resembles the actual TV show. A $3 game looks a bit pricey compared to most games in the market, but if you’re a fan of the show, then you need to know that this is by far the best game out there in terms of simulating the real show, with a great 3D-based graphics system show-casing true features from the game show itself.

Modes like solo-play & pass-play offer multiple ways to play with friends or by yourself on one device. The game has all the standard options in the game show, like the spinning of the wheel, choosing vowels and / or straight solving the puzzle. You can contest against 2 AI, who for the most part only guess when the puzzles are close to being solved, to give yourself a bit of an advantage.

The game offers great graphics from the spinning feature of the wheel and the characters themselves. Pat Sayjak from the show is even built into the game with dialog. Just like in the show, it’s on a turn-by-turn basis until you miss a guess of a letter, solve and so on. Wheel of Fortune for iOS really brings the game show to your iOS device with the whole setup to gameplay.

Other features, like themes, allow you to customize your avatar, scenery and so on. Pass and play is a great way to play with friends on one device doubling the game show fun. Overall it’s the best wheel of fortune app out there hands down. Gameplay is superb which matches the quality of the graphics, and if you’re a fan of the show then it’s a solid buy for $3.
