We’re finally living in the future! Well some of us. HotSchedules is an ios application, which allows people whose employers who are using the HotSchedules time management system to Manage their shifts and check their schedules. Companies such as Ihop, Califorina Pizza Kitchen, Carinos, Chilis, Outback Steakhouse, and Texas use this service to manage their schedule management.
This application pretty much mirrors the website experience of HotSchedules minus a few features. In the user reviews people are complaining about the inability to see the whole schedule and who they are working with. Along with the inability to access their coworker’s contact information if they would like to contact them to trade shifts. A great future to add would be calendar syncing with your native ios calendar.
If you’re looking to not be glued to the computer all the time to get your schedule then this app is for you. The price tag is a little hefty. Considering this is just the app to interface with online service I feel this app should actually be free. It would also be nice if there was an iPad version available. With the extra screen real-estate you can show a better interface and give more information with out scrolling.
