How someone would want to be a hair dresser really baffles me. In no way could I wash someone else’s hair, but I guess that there are lot of people out there who love the idea of working in a hair salon and here we have the sequel to the popular Hair Salon game that was released a little while back. So is Hair Salon 2 a worthy sequel?

This game has a look that is clearly aimed at girls. Now I do not start yelling names like sexist at me I am just pointing out that girls are who this game is clearly made for. While the characters look full of life and have a nice and friendly look to them, I felt that they could have jazzed up the salon a little bit made it have a little more personality than it does. That to be fair though is maybe being a little picky, as the aim of the game here is to make someone look nice.

The game play of Hair Salon 2 really surprised me. To be honest I am not sure what I expected, but it is a fast and frantic game. You can make each customer look perfect to your exact specifications. You can change the color of their hair and use some funky looking accessories. What I found interesting was that they have a time limit and you need to give the customer what they want before its time to get to work on the next one. It just made it a little more exciting. It is all done with simple drag and swipe style controls.

Overall Hair Salon 2 does exactly what it sets out to do – let you play in a hair salon. I am sure that little girls will have fun with this free app, so you’re encouraged to download this for your daughter and see how she likes it.
