Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a game created by Activision Publishing, Inc. It costs $6.99 and is available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Objective:

Black Ops Zombies is a really popular mini-game of Black Ops (for consoles and PC). It offers exciting gameplay for up to four players against intensifying zombie waves. Although you can’t actually “beat” the zombies, the game remains fun because each type you play is different. Also, by using COD points you can unlock weapons, perks and new areas during gameplay.

Black Ops Zombies was released for the iOS platform on December 1, 2011. So far it has amassed more than 88k reviews and hundreds of thousands of downloads.
This game features four zombie map-packs: Kino, Ascension, Dead Ops Arcade and Call of the Dead. It also has a tutorial mode which trains you on the fine art of zombie slaughter. When you’re ready to play you can choose from four different characters and three difficulty modes.

In Black Ops Zombies you can either slaughter zombies through solo mode or through multiplayer mode. Multiplayer mode lets you play with friends over Wi-Fi or with randomly matched people online. You can even chat with teammates by using Voice Chat.

The Good:

Call of Duty is a bestselling series that everyone has learned to love and hate to some degree. The quality of their games is unprecedented and you can trust that their games are worth buying before you even try them. Black Ops Zombies is one of those games that most people have already played on their consoles now; and they’ve gotten so addicted to it that they want to access it on their mobile devices.

If you already love killing zombies in Black Ops then you probably got this game the first day you heard of it. However, if you don’t know what Black Ops zombies is, then you probably don’t get the point of playing a game that never ends, and just starts over when you die.

The Bad:

The last time this game was updated was on November 12th, 2012. The iOS version is missing a lot of maps that the console/PC versions have received.

Conclusion:

If you love killing zombies, FPS games or COD, then you’re probably going to enjoy Black Ops Zombies. People who have already played the console version of this game will easily be able to justify buying the iOS port. People who haven’t played the console version might have a harder time making the decision to invest in this game. But there’s nothing to be hesitant about. Black Ops Zombies is a great game that is soon becoming a classic.

If you want to call yourself a gamer then you’re probably going to need Black Ops Zombies under your belt.
