I do not get the appeal of bingo so this review should be fun ! Still with that being said I am not an idiot and I can clearly see that bingo is huge business. Here in the UK you can’t watch TV without there being at least one commercial for either a real bingo place or one of the five million online bingo companies. So there clearly is a market for a bingo game.
First thing that surprised me about this game was how nice and colourful the game menus are. I mean at the end of the day the game is bingo so there really is only so much that you can do. But for the most part the game is very easy on the eyes.
So how does the game play? Well the first thing that I found a little odd was that it forces you to play a tutorial. This is really not a bad thing, but is there anyone out there who does not under stand how to play bingo? I am all for tutorials in video games, but I just fond it amusing how there was one in a bingo game.
Anyway you will select the number of cards you want to play with and then the bingo game begins. You will see how many people you are playing with on the left part of the screen and on the top of the screen you will see the balls being drawn. Balls being drawn is that even the correct bingo term? Anyway it is what it is the game is bingo. I understand that many people love bingo and I am sure that they will find this a pretty cool virtual representation, but for me the games felt like they took an absolute age to end.
There is more to the game than just playing endless games of bingo. After each game you earn coins and experience points which can be used to unlock various achievements and bingo rooms as well. This is a nice feature that I am sure fans of bingo will get really hooked into. There are many different things for you to collect as well.
One thing that was cool was the way that after a game of bingo you would get to play a slot machine. This was very well animated and looked pretty darn good if I am honest. You can win things by playing this slot machine. For example the first time I played it I won 20 coins.
Like I said I am not a bingo fan, but this game is fun and very well made. I am sure for people who enjoy a game of bingo that this game is a must have on there iOS device. I can appreciate that a great deal of love went into this game and it clearly shows with how polished it is.
