Bodelin Technologies has some crazy products up its sleeves. One of these products is called the ProScope. It’s basically an accessory for iOS devices aimed at students, doctors, and anyone else interested in scoping out small things. The ProScope supports the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and the demand is already catching up with Bodelin. Clay Barker, the general manager, said that the ProScope is the fastest selling product they’ve released so far.

Meet the ProScope

The ProScope comes with 12 LEDS that light up whatever you point it at. It also magnifies objects at a whopping 80x power! Connecting the ProScope is really simple. It comes with a base unit which attaches to your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. Then you just attach the lens to the base unit in front of the device’s camera.

The LEDS do need to be charged via the USB charging cable. But they run for about 5 hours straight, so you won’t need to worry about them dying.

Now this is a really interesting  product and I’d buy it if I could justify spending $150 on it. If you’re a nature enthusiast, a dermatologist, or maybe a student, then buying the ProScope should be an easy decision.

Video Commerical

If you watch this video you’ll be able to see how the lens is attached to the device as well as the quality of the microscope. You can also see an example of the quality below:
